TWO DAY WORKSHOP
The What and How of Gender-aware Monitoring
The MENA Network, KVINFO and Gendernet are organising a two day workshop about gender-aware monitoring. The workshop will help you to plan and implement monitoring that is sensitive to the effect of an intervention on different groups of women and men and captures the impact on gender equality and rights. Day one focuses on 'what' to monitor: developing gender-aware and rights-sensitive indicators. Day two explores 'how' to collect and use data, taking into account gender relations, the rights addressed by the intervention and the practicalities of programme/project management. The agenda will include time to apply new knowledge and skills to own work - participants are asked to bring a programme /project plan for which they need to develop indicators and a monitoring plan.
